To the Northern Alps of Japan for the first time this season

I went to the Northern Alps of Japan for the first time this season. My original plan was to enter from Kamikochi, spend a night at Karasawa, then head to Mt. Kita-Hotaka and spend several days photographing there.
The weather was favorable on the first day. However, since the forecast predicted deteriorating weather in the afternoon of the second day, followed by a full day of stormy conditions, I decided to descend the mountain on the morning of the second day.
Although I wasn't able to take the photos I had hoped for, I spent a night at the Tokusawa campsite — a place I usually just pass through — before heading home. That, too, was a good experience.
